Data on your device

Your bookmarks, reading history, downloaded works, chapter positions and preferences are stored locally. The app does not provide cloud library sync.

Archive requests

Searches and requests for works are sent to Archive of Our Own. AO3 receives the network information needed to serve those requests, including your IP address. Its own privacy policy applies to that service.

Subscriptions

Apple and RevenueCat process subscription purchases, restore requests and entitlement information. RevenueCat uses an anonymous app user identifier and receives purchase information and technical information needed to provide subscription services and subscription statistics. We do not link that identifier to a personal account or use it for advertising tracking. Payment details are handled by your app store.

Analytics and advertising

The app contains no advertising SDK or separate behavioral analytics SDK.

Deleting local data

Removing the app deletes its local library data. Cancel a subscription separately through your App Store account. Reinstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
